Hello

I'm a compassionate individual deeply committed to a student-centered approach, guiding high schoolers in their college admissions journey. I meet each student exactly where they are in their self-development and awareness. My passion lies in unlocking their potential while guiding them through the college admissions maze with empathy, understanding, and personalized support. Whether working with outgoing leaders or the most reserved introverts, I find immense joy in discovering the key to each student's passion and interests and engaging them in meaningful ways that build confidence and encourage self-discovery. I have a particular interest and compassionate heart for working with students challenged by anxiety, depression, and ADHD. 
 

I hold an Independent Educational Consulting Certificate from the University of California, Irvine, and completed the IECA Summer Training Institute at Claremont McKenna College. I regularly visit about 20-25 college campuses in person around the country every year, regularly attend professional conferences, staying current on the ever-changing landscape of college admissions. I am a professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), and the Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC), adhering to the highest ethical standards in the field.

I live in Carlsbad, CA, with my husband and our two dogs, Vandal and Ivy, who sometimes make appearances via Zoom. While I work remotely with students across the country, my roots in North County San Diego run deep—our four children attended La Costa Canyon High School, and our son teaches and coaches at Pacific Ridge Academy. On occasion, I will see students in person at my dining room table if they live nearby and prefer "in-person" meetings.
